Hey you guys:) We are back in Europe and racing hard. Man, I've been traveling so much I can't remember where I left off and where I need to start, so I will just start with my break after racing in MN.
Getting some family time in with my cousin and her husband in Virginia.
I was so honored to be given this jersey. Carla was a teammate of mine in 2010, she was hit by a car and killed that winter. This jersey is a sportsmanship award, voted on by my peers -the peloton.
While in MA, I got to visit my uncle. He is living the dream and escaping the Mississippi heat!!
I headed to Massachusetts to stay with some friends for a couple of weeks before heading back to Brussels. I was in the Southampton area, the riding was spectacular, I met some wonderful new people and enjoyed some down time for the 4th of July.
What a group!
Pretty cool view from the view in Scituate, MA.
Now I'm currently in Calais, France. We are here a couple of days before heading to London for a one day race on Saturday. Leading to this point, we did the women's Tour de France - La Course - which was held on Sunday, in Paris, prior to the men coming into town. It was pretty amazing, even the second time around. Our team had a top 10 finish, we are happy but always hope for more of course:). And before that we raced in Thuringen, Germany. So we've been moving around a lot and will be on the move for the next two weeks. It's hard to keep up.
All the way to Europe to find Mississippi BBQ:) ha! I'm not quite sure what it was but it made me laugh.
Cruisin around with Brie is always fun.
