Colorado Springs/TTT practice/Boels Rental Ladies Tour/Sittard

It's 4:25pm, I'm sitting outside, fighting jet lag, wanting to go to bed but if I can just make it to 8:30pm!  I landed in Denver yesterday afternoon from a great trip to Holland with the USA National team for the last race of the year, prior to that was a team camp in Colorado Springs.

In between the last blog and now, Twenty16 raced USA ProChallenge - a 3 day stage race in Breckenridge, Loveland/Ft. Collins and Golden, CO - with Kristin Armstrong winning overall and I stepped on the podium in second place on the last day in Golden.  The team also won a 2 year lease on a Lexus, wonder if I can take it to the hunting camp this winter? hahah...

Start/Finish area for our race in Breckenridge...

Bike riders playing on different types of bikes:)

My buddy, Mara Abbott - a proud Coloradan:)

Team house in Breckenridge....

Heading to the TT course..

Air mattress livin....it's not so bad...

After ProChallenge the team drove to Colorado Springs for a week of team camp.  I was able to ride my bike through the Garden of the Gods and check out the Olympic Training Center.

Playing around;)...

We found this gem of a trail on an easy day... www.everytrail.com/guide/new-sant…

Our wonderful Canadian, Alison Jackson...

This host dog was so cute...checking out the visitors.

This is what a tired and hungry rider looks like...

Enjoying our last night in the Springs with a BBQ...

TTT practice...

From Colorado Springs, 3 of us(Andrea Dvorak, Allie Dragoo and myself) flew to Brussels with the USA National team for Boels Rental Ladies Tour   - 6 day tour and I was able to take the win on day 3 - heck yeah!

Not sure what we were laughing at but having some fun either way...

This picture gives you an idea of road size.  This was such a wet and soggy day and the picture doesn't show you how much dirt and mud was caked on...

What a great feeling it is to be on the top step!

Joy, happiness, relief, satisfaction...

When you know you can do it and then you do, this is the face that follows... for all those that say no or you can't, watch me.

And just as fast as it comes, it goes.... this was taken on the last day and I was in between the first and second group.  They call that, 'no man's land'...:)

And just like that the year is coming to a close BUT not before world championships in Richmond, VA!!!! Last year it was Ponferrada, Spain.  This is a big deal for the US cycling community and I'm glad I can be a part of it as a member of the Twenty16 p/b ShoAir team time trial squad.  We will race on Sept. 20, so maybe NBC Sports will air it, please keep a look out!

Coryn's breakfast of champions, toast w/ butter and chocolate sprinkles, mini pancakes, eggs, sausage and beans....

The cycling circus takes over a whole hotel and parking lot, I feel sorry for any other guests.

The crew...
